RECORDING AT SWEDEN ROCK!
It's been almost ten years when the special edition of "Six
Dimensions" came out with live-cd "No Sleep Until Blue
Room". The band is planning to do at last the live album and
they will record their show at Sweden Rock. The plan is to play
the songs from every album, some kind of the story of Five
Fifteen...
"I think it's the very good time to do it now, play some
songs from the past too and see what the band has been and is
right now. It will be a very good memory, if this whole thing is

M & M are going to sing some 70’s glam classics at
Liberte, Helsinki 12.4.
The other members of TYRANNOSAURUS VI are Markku Kanerva,
Mikko Rintanen, Eeva Koivusalo & Ville Suivanen. The musicians
have been playing in so many bands in Finland that it’s almost
impossible to list them all: Pekka Pohjola Group, Wigwam, Havana
Black, Blake, Niko Ahvonen, Fat Bullets, Maritta Kuula etc... |

ALCOHOL ON
THE RUN!
No rest for the wicked. Five Fifteen and Sweden Rock will start
the
promotion of the new album in September and it will come out in
Sweden in October. The band knows that more gigs they are willing
to do, the more albums it will sell...
- "There's been talking about France, Germany, Spain, Italy
and naturally Scandinavia. But we will see when it happens... Now
we're just glad that the record is out and it's good. It's maybe
different than the previous ones and especially the cover has
raised MANY eyebrows, but... if it's shocking. Good. We didn't
want to glamour this "Alcohol"-thing..." (MJ)

On The Water" and "Suspicious Mind" with houseband
Flipper at the nightclub of Viking Line ferry few weeks ago.
Mika was on his way to Stockholm to do some business and suddenly
there was an open jam...

- Splendid has done the "splendid" job and now the recordings
are almost ready. The special guest of the album is Olli Tikka,
an old friend and the mighty vocalist from the Milestones. He
played some harmonica and sang some harmonies. Some of the songs

MASA, MIKA & SPLENDID AT THE SURPRISE GIG!
Last Saturday 16.12 Masa and Mika did an acoustic surprise gig with Splendid at
restaurant Kuu Kuu, Helsinki. Guys tested some new songs from the forthcoming
Five Fifteen-album.
Masa, Mika and Splendid (from ltr) played also some Bowie, Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin and of course
some of the FF-oldies like "The Prostitute". The biggest surprise perhaps
was "The Misery Loves the Company" from the Crazy World album.
They were having so much fun that they will do it again a.s.a.p.!!! |

FIVE FIFTEEN TO SPAIN WITH ROBBO?
Mr. Robertson and Five Fifteen will have a gig together again already in
January. Seems that this time the gang will travel the first time together to
Spain...
Before that FIve Fifteen will finish the recordings of their forthcoming
album "ALCOHOL". The audience at Liberté heard some of the new material:
"Old hairy dogs almost dead", "Fill your head with rock" and the Moody
Blues classic "Gypsy (Of a strange and distant time)", which was the
audience favorite. |
THE MIXINGS OF THE DVD ALMOST READY!!!
Gig at Cresecendo Festival 2005 was very special for the band.
An old "Five Fifteen-veteran" Splendid Laine from the "Psychedelic
Singalongs-Six Dimensions"-years has mixed eight songs from the set and
he did excellent job. He has catched the true live sound of Five Fifteen. |

Splendid will produce also the forthcoming album with the band. "Jesus went to N.Y.C.", "Black Monday", "High Times We Had" and "The
Prostitute" are the highlights of this very special show. |

NEW LIVE DVD!!!
Crescendo will release the DVD of the concerts at St.Palais sur
la Mer, France. It will be released before the next summer. Half
of the DVD will be the performance of the Five Fifteen from the
year 2005. |
MARIKA LIUSKI IS BACK !!!
Many who saw the band in Turku, Jyväskylä and Kuopio in May were very pleased to see Maikki again sharing vocals with Mika.
Miss Liuski is really back in action with her special talent and THE VOICE. She did
excellent work in recordings of "Delirium" and "Parteners in Crime" and
the next step will be the acoustic experiment in Bar 15. |

THANK YOU ALL WHO CAME TO TAVASTIA!
In Tavastia we saw Saana in vocals and she will help the band when
needed, but she wants now to concentrate more to her own music and the
solo career...
In keyboards the band had CASPER MÅRTENSON, the guy who has played in Amorphis and Mannhai. Casper did an
excellent job and learned all the songs on two days!!! Kuoppala was in Ruisrock with Von Hertzen Brothers
and the schedule was just too much for him this time.
The band really enjoyed and it was a pleasure to share the stage with
maginificent ZOOK. |
FIVE FIFTEEN AND JOHN LAWTON TOGETHER!!!
The legendary singer from Uriah Heep and Lucifer's Friend will return to Finland and play again with Five Fifteen. The gigs will start from
Tavastia 29.8.!
The band had some free time between the recordings and John will start his own recordings in september, so it was the time to do something
together again. The set will be full of Heep, Lucifer's Friend and some
surprises... |

will be full of material from the both side of the coin, from Robbo's

MAIKKI LIUSKI WILL SING AT ON THE ROCKS 7.4
!!!! - The one and only, Marika Liuski
will share the vocals with Mika at On The Rocks 7.4. This amazing singer
who created the sound of female/male harmony vocal of Five fifteen with
Mika, has just finished her duties in HAIR SPRAY-musical and will sing
the old and new Five Fifteen songs with her old band in april.
The set will be also full of NEW material from the
forthcoming Five Fifteen album, which has not name yet. And of course
the "classics" from the Six Dimensions and Death of a
Clown.
This gig is also the first public performance for
Hannes Pirilä as Five Fifteen drummer.
