Anssi (the hardest working drummer in showbusiness) is in Lappland
right now, banging on drums, of course. He asked Kuoppis to help
him and so Sami will sit on the drumstool next week with CW at On
The Rocks.

CRAZY WORLD TO
FRANCE AGAIN IN 2009!
Crescendo-festival will go on the road next year in July-August.
And one of the bands will be Crazy World!
On next summer Nugent Sur Oise, Ancenis, Jonzac, Libourne,
Bergerac and many more places will see Crazy World's new rock-opera
"The Return Of The Clown". |

NEW RECORDINGS, GIGS
IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, NEXT SUMMER TO FRANCE
The band will go to the studio before the New Year. "The
return of the clown (Desperados, bikers and lolitas from
hell)" is a rock-opera, the story of the motorcycle circus in
California and the clown who comes back after 14 years in exile...
The band will play some of the new songs in November-December
tour.
There's been negotations also the tour in France next year under
Crescendo. |

LAHTI SAW
MIKA SINGING LENNY KRAVITZ!
14.12 Mika was sharing the stage with Kristian Wahlstöm, Olli
Helenius and Ville Valovirta. The boys played Lenny Kravitz at
Memphis in Lahti.
With just one short rehearsal behind them the guys stormed out
classics like "Always On The Run", "Mr. Cab
Driver", "Let Love Rule", "Are You Gonna Go My
Way", etc...
Mika told us about the evening: "The slow ones were hard,
especially those with taste of "soul" - Kravitz is an
excellent and I'm not really "a soulsinger"... But it
was great to play with those guys. They're excellent musicians. |

CRAZY
WORLD WILL PLAY AT VIRGIN OIL CO. IN MAY!!!
18.5 Crazy World will at last play at Virgin oil Co., Helsinki.
All the members have been busy and writing the material for the
next album and now it seems that the recordings will start in
the summertime.
The band already tested some of the material "alive" in February
and "You're So Vain" will be one of those songs that will see
the light of the day.
In May Mika will be busy also at BRUUVERI where he's going to
play few acoustic gigs with Splendid and Olli Tikka. Plus CRAZY
PURPLE OF MIKA JÄRVINEN will play DEEP PURPLE before the Purple
gig at Jäähalli 23.5. The show will start 18.00, so everybody
could come there before Jäähalli show and enjoy ! the band will
play some of the material from "Come Taste The Band" too...
There's been also rumours, that Mika will also sing some DAVID BOWIE
23-26.5. with some friends around Finland... |

CRAZY CHRISTMAS WITH MIKA AND BLACK PASSAT BLUES!!!
Mika will share the stage with the excellent Black Passat Blues in Seinäjoki at Christmas day
25.12!
SELMU who organises the legendary Provinssi-rock festival have their annual
Christmas After Show Party and Mika will play this very special show with his long time friends
Takamäki, Nisula and "Big" Saarinen. There's someone at the chimney hole
and that's Wild Järvinen!

CRAZY PURPLE OF MIKA JÄRVINEN PLAYS THE LEGENDARY SONGS OF DEEP PURPLE
AGAIN!!!
The Virgin Oil Co. last summer was so big succes that it's time to play the Deep
Purple-classics again, this time at On The Rocks 19.11.!
The support band will be again 'EAVIER THAN 'UMBLE, so the evening will be
full of hard rock classics.
The band is: Janne Lehto - guitar, Eeva Koivusalo - bass, Kasper Mårtenson -
keys, Santeri Saksala - drums and Mika - singing'n' screamin'. First band will start at 22.00. |

CRAZY MIKA IN BERLIN!
Last week 24.10. Mika was singing some songs with Kristian Fjellstad at Club Anno 64, which is in Kreuzberg area in Berlin.
Guys played together some Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash and The Doors.
And drinks were (of course) Tequila! Boys have jammed together before and they
have some plans to work together in the future! |

THE NEW ALBUM?
THE DVD?
The band will start the recordings before Christmas, when
everybody are available. Timo and Mika will sit down before that
to write the new material, some of the songs are already ready.
The band has been also busy listening theis concert from
Crescendo this year and mixing it for the forthcoming live DVD. |

CRAZY JUDAS OF MIKA JÄRVINEN ON TOUR!
Twist Twist Erkinharju, Lauri Porra, Tuomas Wäinölä and
Mr.Järvinen will do the small tour in August !! They had so much fun
at Tavastia, that they decided to play more these 80's hilarious
hard rock classics. More Ozzy and Judas Priest on the set, that's
for sure!

CRAZY WORLD WILL PLAY AT CRESCENDO!
19.08. Crazy World will play in France, at the same festival where Five Fifteen blasted last year. The set will be full of interesting material, because the band is going to the studio before that. The old, borrowed (Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull..?), blue and new..!!

Mika Järvinen bändeineen kiertää alkuvuonna Suomea ! Kiertue päättuu tammi-helmikuun vaihteessa komeasti Jyväskylän ja Helsingin jäähalleihin, joissa Crazy World lämmittelee legendaarista Deep Purplea!
Crazy World julkaisi lokakuun lopussa debyyttialbuminsa ”Crazy World”, joka sisältää bändin omaa materiaalia Led Zeppelinin, Deep Purplen, The Whon, The Beatlesin ja Bowien ajattomien rockklassikoiden hengessä. Albumilla on mukana cover-versio Led Zeppelinin biisistä ”Good Times, Bad Times”.
